I've been on Friday nights as well as Saturdays and the amount pretentiousness exponentially rises for some reason. Maybe because it gets packed wall to wall, maybe it's a promoter, maybe it's a different crowd that shows up. Something on Thursday nights sucked me in and this picture does a great job of showing what it is. The energy in this place is unrivaled for me at any consistent venue in DC. Nights like these have kept me up wayyy past my bedtime, for almost 14 weeks straight now. I'll grow up one day and get to sleep before midnight, until then, keep dancing!
